Since late fall of 2021 our Deck Project has been on hold.  The decking replacement is complete in the aft section and has a couple coats of Gaco waterproof paint to blend in with the rest of the deck.  Everything was in great condition for our Holiday Teas, and a lovely wedding during the Christmas season. The translucent wrapping around the upper deck is keeping everything cozy through the winter.

We are working with our shipwright and a marine architect to draw up the missing construction details needed to replace the deck “cover boards” around the entire perimeter of the deck.  We will start this next phase soon. 

We are grateful to have received partial funding through a Heritage Capital Project grant from the State of Washington but we still must raise $20,000 to meet our grant match requirement.  Your donations will help make this possible!
